Went to watch spidey 3 with my girlfriend and oh great blog owner Caker just now. It is one of those movies that you can’t miss. Overall thought it was a good movie although a bit boring at some parts. Anyway this post is NOT a review of spidey. Check out the picture below.
Forgive the lousy shot, it was dark in the cinema and it was taken with a 2MP camera phone. THE BLOODY HEAD!!! The cinemas are now already so small and this guy had to sit straight… super straight. Can’t he just slouch and enjoy the movie like everyone else in the cinema? His head was just sticking out like a sore thumb. Had a strong urge to do a Whac-A-Mole on him!!.
Apart from the head there was this group of Malays sitting at the back row. My god, they just kept yakking and yakking away for the entire duration of the show. And that was some good 140mins of show time. Wait, make that 155mins including the advertisements in the beginning. Though some parts of their conversation was funny, it was very irritating. Mat Rock: Ini lagu salah ini. Kalau letak Metallica punya Enter Sandman baru cun. (This is the wrong song, if they were to put Metallica’s Enter Sandman, then it would be perfect.)

Mat Rock 1: Siapa nak datang tolong dia? Kawan dia ke? (Who’s gonna come help him? His friend?)
Mat Rock 2: Mestilah kawan dia.. takkan la Cicak Man. (Of course lar, you don’t expect Cicak Man right?)
After the show my girlfriend was telling me about the Mat Rocks, everytime they laughed she was treated with a nice OSIM uPapa or OTO Tataki.
So fellow readers, the next time you go for movies please do be considerate to other viewers. Please
- Do NOT sit up straight. Slouch, Relax keep you head low or risk being a Whac-A-Mole target.
- Do NOT talk too much. Even though you are not revealing the plot, people don’t appreciate listening to your comments.
- Do NOT give the fella in front of you a back massage. They are doing fine without the rumble effects.
